Really pleased with how this turned out.

I made this today. It will be for sale at Lincoln showground from 5am on Monday morning.
If industrial is what you're after then it doesn't come anymore industrial than this.
The table is so manly it's ready to take on all comers at bare knuckle fighting.
 Even the French like it.

Tuesday 25 March 2014

Today at Kempton.

It was rather wet. I was on my own without Lady Norfolk, I managed to make myself a couple of cups of tea but no bacon this week.
Anyway here's hoping for better weather for Monday & Tuesday when we will be trading at Lincoln showground.
Come and see is if you can we will have loads of new stock for you.

Busy time

For old Lord Rust. One day at home now a quick reload of the van and trailer then I'm off again down the road to Kempton for Tuesdays sale.
I'll have loads of bargain ephemera and more of my usual rusty and crusty stock. Come and see me I'll be all on my own while Lady Norfolk gets on with all her commissions in the workshop.

Saturday 22 March 2014

Back from Peterborough.

Just got home and eaten after a good weekend. Much more sunshine than this time last year when it was blizzard conditions on the field.
So tomorrow morning we will be trawling for treasure around Suffolks best car boot sales, then on to Carley's yard in Framlingham for a restock of Lady Norfolk's space there. More colour on its way.

Sunday 16 March 2014

Home again.

We're all packed up and on our way back home to Suffolk, it's been a gloriously sunny weekend in Huntington at the racecourse and both Lord Rust and myself are showing signs of a weekend outside, I've freckles-a-plenty and Lord Rust's head is beginning to turn, well....rusty!

We took our ensemble of brightly coloured furniture, rusty relics and industrial table's to a fair that had been resurrected after a year of absence, field dog fair's.fielddogfairs. who organise events up and down the country made us feel very welcome upon our arrival and personally escorted us to our pitch. Attendance was good for a fair that locals.must of feared was over for good.

There were many relics buying relics and those who'd turned up to get their fill of Royal Doulton at the inside stalls but those who were our kind of customers were full of compliments, eager to see more of our pieces online and enthusiastic about commissions. Our faceBook page.

We're nearly home now feeling slightly weary, especially at the thought of unloading the van but full of positivity and eager to get ready for the next event which is Peterborough next Friday and Saturday at the east of England show ground.
Field dog fair's will be returning to Huntingdon on the 27th of September and we hope to try another of their events this summer.

Back at the workshop now could murder a G and T, to round off a rather super weekend.

Our next trip will be East of England Showground at Peterborough on Friday & Saturday. Peterborough Antique Fair

Saturday 15 March 2014

Nearly finished for today but we're here tomorrow too.

At Huntingdon racecourse from 8.30 till 4.

It's a close shave.

Bad joke but got to keep our spirits up at Huntingdon antique fair. Come on down we are here all weekend. It's at the racecourse loads of parking.

It's been a while!

We've told ourselves off and now promise a better blogging service. I've downloaded an app to do it from my phone and we hope to have internet coverage at the workshop from tomorrow.
I hope we can upload photos of finished projects and fresh treasure as it happens.
This coffee table sold at Kempton today but I do have two other tops to make more. Get in touch if you want one.
